The pious festival of Janamashtami and Independence Day was celebrated with great zeal and zest in the school auditorium. The function was graced with the benign presence of esteemed BVM Trust members Sh. O.P.Sabharwal ji (President), Sh. M.M.Vyas ji (Secretary), Sh. R.K.Behal ji (Joint Secretary) and Sh. M.M.Bamba ji (Treasurer). The event commenced with lamp lighting and the sacred seeking blessing from Maa Saraswati, followed by patriotic poem “Mera Pyara Bharat Maa Varga” by Mantra of class IV. The audience was enlightened with the patriotic speech y Mrs. Rasdip Kaur. The students rejoiced the mesmerizing group song by the students of class VI – VIII and the power point presentation on patriotism touched one and all. The whole auditorium reverberated with the spiritual words on anecdotes from life of Lord Krishna by Mr. Harmesh Malhotra. Hardik of class VI spellbound with his reverent Bhajan. Stupendous dance performance delighted one and all. The auspicious event culminated with the blissful words by Sh. M.M.Vyas ji. He advised the students to celebrate the festival by knowing the real essence of the reason and further said that to serve Bharat Mata, the service of parents is the foremost duty of all. Principal Mrs. Bandana Sethi delved on the need to change the mindset to bring a constructive change in the society and also emphasized on self realization.
